Wireless NBN Modem for your Hassle Free Connectivity
NBN Wireless or NBN Fixed Wireless is a connection that utilizes data transmitted over radio signals to connect your premises to NBN network. It is typically used in cases where in the distance between premises can take many kilometers away. The data travels from a transmission tower located as far as 14kilometres to an NBN outdoor antenna that has been fitted to the premises through an approved NBN installer.
This also requires a connection box to be installed at the point wherein the cable from the NBN outdoor antenna enters on your premises and this device require power to operate and can only be installed by the NBN approved installer.
How to Setup NBN Wireless
1.You need to connect the power cable from your modem's power port to your power outlet.
2.Then, connect the supplied yellow ethernet cable from your modem's blue WAN port to the UNI-D port on your NBN connection box.
3.You need to plug in devices via ethernet cable and connect the Ethernet cable to any of the four yellow LAN ports on your modem.
4.Lastly, if your Phone service is included in your plan, and you like to use it, you need to plug your handset into the green Phone port on your modem.
Wireless Modem is a modem that bypasses the telephone system and helps you directly connect to a wireless network and access directly the internet provided by your ISP (internet service provider). It can be prebuilt into smartphones, and personal data assistants or redistributed in the form of USB, serial or wireless firewall modem.
How does Wireless Modem Works?
